South Lockport's Quinn Sams played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Samuels in the 21st minute of play. When Allan Samuels, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 24 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Quinn Sams was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Allan Samuels who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Quinn Sams when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 31 minutes, Allan Samuels mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gotham City Athletic and the South Lockport players grew even worse after the yellow card. Quinn Sams was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Darin Bowling showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 35 minute of play. Quinn Sams took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Samuels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Allan Samuels made a kick off. If Rocky Graves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. Quinn Sams showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Samuels, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 79th minute Allan Samuels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quinn Sams saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Arturo Barber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Allan Samuels might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Quinn Sams. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
