In the 48th minute Enoch Vaughn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Byron Smalls saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enoch Vaughn was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of LA Galaxy FC booed when Deportivo Lava Andina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justin Caudill didn't get a good kick on the ball. LA Galaxy FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
