Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Allan Samuels started the match with the kick off. After 8 minutes, Dustin Fowler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gotham City Athletic and the Flushing players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Gotham City Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dustin Fowler to maneuver through the defense. Elvis Huston took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Huffman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ali Thome's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elvis Huston was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. 19 minutes into the match, Flushing's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Barber came free, but Brock Mohr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gotham City Athletic's Cory Lutz got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wallace Camacho during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ace Godfrey kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Elvis Huston made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Cristobal Perry sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute, Ace Godfrey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gotham City Athletic fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Elvis Huston didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kenny Edwards went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Charles Huffman made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Kenny Edwards shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvis Huston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gotham City Athletic's Allan Samuels got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 58th minute, Allan Samuels fired away a free kick at goal. It was hit a tad too hard, and went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Ali Thome left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flushing fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 65th minute of the match, Allan Samuels tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Brock Mohr saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 68 minutes into the match, Gotham City Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Kenny Edwards came free, but Elvis Huston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Kenny Edwards notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Gotham City Athletic's Elvis Huston. Elvis Huston was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 73 minutes into the match, Charles Huffman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elvis Huston. Gotham City Athletic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charles Huffman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After a rather tough play, Gotham City Athletic's Darin Bowling got a free kick in the 81st minute. Allan Samuels might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brock Mohr. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Allan Samuels ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90th minute Charles Huffman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvis Huston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Darin Bowling was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gotham City Athletic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flushing the free kick. In the 95th minute, Darin Bowling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flushing's Charles Huffman got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Flushing fully deserved thier win.
