Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) William Correa made the kick off and thus started the match. 7 minutes into the game, Ali Thome cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Benito Vinson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Laurence Frey struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Brock Mohr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argentinos F.C.. 17 minutes into the match, Flushing's goal looked a bit too open when William Correa came free, but Brock Mohr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Argentinos F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ali Thome fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling William Correa in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brock Mohr prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If William Correa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When William Correa came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Argentinos F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Correa couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute, Genaro Engle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Thome hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Argentinos F.C.'s goalkeeper Benito Vinson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Thome. William Correa took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brock Mohr. Brock Mohr dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ali Thome in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benito Vinson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charles Huffman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Flushing got a freekick which was hit by Ali Thome. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laurence Frey during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If William Correa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Flushing getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Dustin Keyes hit a great ball. Domingo Ng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Domingo Ng fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Argentinos F.C.'s protests and gave Domingo Ng a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes Argentinos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Ng. Von Gillespie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Brock Mohr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Domingo Ng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argentinos F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingo Ng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flushing's goalkeeper Brock Mohr, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. William Correa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Brock Mohr skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Correa in the 94th minute of play forced Flushing's goalkeeper Brock Mohr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Despite being the better team, Argentinos F.C. failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
