Vicente Ayala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Spencer Webb in the 35th minute of play. After 37 played minutes CSyD Almafuerte got a freekick which was hit by Val Mabry. Johnathon Hoff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Spencer Webb was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, IRON BOYS's goal looked a bit too open when Spencer Webb came free, but Vicente Ayala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CSyD Almafuerte's Ferdinand Sweeney was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vicente Ayala in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hayden Cavazos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Glenn Cardwell made a huge save. In the 59th minute Johnathon Hoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Ayala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, IRON BOYS's Hayden Cavazos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Glenn Cardwell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vicente Ayala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Spencer Webb in the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Johnathon Hoff had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vicente Ayala. IRON BOYS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johnathon Hoff was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. CSyD Almafuerte's Freddie Ferrell got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Johnathon Hoff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Vicente Ayala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When CSyD Almafuerte's Spencer Webb in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Ayala prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 78 played minutes IRON BOYS got a freekick which was hit by Lane Nielsen. Marcellus Mercer hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fletcher Hahn during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th minute, Fletcher Hahn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 89 minutes, Johnathon Hoff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
