Spectators: 6802 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 40) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gregg Ferrell made the kick off which started today's match. Jeramy Goode made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Friend in the 3rd minute of play. James Woods sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, Brett Warren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 10 minutes, Brett Warren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Woodbury Heights's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brett Warren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. James Woods sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 14 played minutes Annapolis United FC got a freekick which was hit by Eldon Russell. James Woods recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Annapolis United FC's Jeramy Goode played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelson Shultz in the 23rd minute of play. Dana Marcus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Theodore Lunsford came out and tried to block the shot, but Dana Marcus slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 26th minute. Brett Warren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeramy Goode showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregg Ferrell in the 31st minute of the match. Gregg Ferrell took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeramy Goode. Jeramy Goode dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 37 minutes into the game, Dana Marcus recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Theodore Lunsford. Dana Marcus showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. A collision led to Annapolis United FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Randy Frost hit a great ball. After 43 played minutes Woodbury Heights got a freekick which was hit by Mel Finch. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dana Marcus to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Woodbury Heights's James Woods nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeramy Goode made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Jeramy Goode didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 55th minute, which inside left pole to 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Annapolis United FC's zone, James Woods stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeramy Goode came out of the goal and James Woods tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Blanco's late challenge caught a Woodbury Heights's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Blanco helped the player get up and apologised. Martin Blanco hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. With 63 minutes on the clock, Eldon Russell commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Annapolis United FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! Jeramy Goode made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gregg Ferrell in the 69th minute. After a rather tough play, Annapolis United FC's Dana Marcus got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Gregg Ferrell's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Jeramy Goode skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Annapolis United FC's goalkeeper Jeramy Goode, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Woodbury Heights's Gregg Ferrell got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gregg Ferrell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeramy Goode read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Randy Frost left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Annapolis United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. Woodbury Heights's Theodore Lunsford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Randy Frost in the 97th minute of play. Woodbury Heights's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
