In the 25th minute, Dylan Young hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute of the match Wilton Robinson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Donnie Faulk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Santo Workman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Donnie Faulk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 played minutes Phoenix Scorchers got a freekick which was hit by Barry Sanford. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Phoenix Scorchers's Stacy Pearce got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donnie Faulk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Workman in the 55th minute of the match. If Neal Stark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donnie Faulk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Workman, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute, Neal Stark ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danny Coffey was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Donnie Faulk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Workman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roberto Albert during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roberto Albert hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the turkısh team defense, Santo Workman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donnie Faulk. The turkısh team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donnie Faulk should have stopped the shot. In the 80th minute, Reggie Bailey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stacy Pearce got free with Donnie Faulk in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santo Workman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Donnie Faulk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Santo Workman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domenic Gipson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shelton Paquette's late challenge caught a Phoenix Scorchers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shelton Paquette helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to turkısh team getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Shelton Paquette hit a great ball. Donnie Faulk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Workman in the 96th minute of the match. Phoenix Scorchers's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
