Spectators: 7461 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1811, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Wilbur Acosta made the kick off which started today's match. With his leg Henry Hill managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Gadsden's Wilbur Acosta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Sterling Strong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gadsden's zone, Nelson Garza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Scottie Wooten came out of the goal and Nelson Garza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Scottie Wooten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sterling Strong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilbur Acosta got free with Henry Hill in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lenny Ernst kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Nelson Garza charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nelson Garza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36th play minutes Wilbur Acosta shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Henry Hill and just under the crossbar into goal. Gadsden's Nigel Crandall got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Gadsden booed when La Scaloneta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philip Harris didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, one of Gadsden:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gadsden. In the 47th minute there was a penalty for La Scaloneta FC. Elvis Chavez stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Scottie Wooten. 1-1.

Scottie Wooten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lenny Ernst in the 53rd minute of play. Denny Winters could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Scottie Wooten made a huge save. La Scaloneta FC's Denny Winters got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dudley Emery took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henry Hill. Henry Hill dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Scottie Wooten made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Austin Sinclair sent off a good shot on target. Henry Hill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudley Emery, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Scaloneta FC's Henry Hill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dudley Emery in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugh Boston in the 78th minute of play forced La Scaloneta FC's goalkeeper Henry Hill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dudley Emery struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Henry Hill didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gadsden. Henry Hill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugh Boston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Scaloneta FC's goalkeeper Henry Hill, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 90th minute Sterling Strong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Scottie Wooten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dudley Emery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Hill having to interfere.
