Kapaa FC's Domenic Marrero got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geoff Tolbert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Theodore Ferris made a huge save. 8 minutes into the match, Sonny Townsend notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kapaa FC's Harry Joseph. Harry Joseph was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Harry Joseph showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene McCracken in the 15th minute of the match. Harry Joseph showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sonny Townsend, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 22 minutes, Rene McCracken mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glenside AFC and the Kapaa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Glenside AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene McCracken to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Glenside AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Rodrigo Rojas hit a great ball. Geoff Tolbert came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Theodore Ferris could save by the left post. Jarvis Stevenson hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene McCracken in the 30th minute of play forced Kapaa FC's goalkeeper Harry Joseph to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sonny Townsend kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geoff Tolbert got free with Theodore Ferris in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Geoff Tolbert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Theodore Ferris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caleb Coles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geoff Tolbert struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Theodore Ferris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kapaa FC. If Sonny Townsend had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kapaa FC's Harry Joseph played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene McCracken in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Geoff Tolbert made the kick off in the second half. Franklin Poe hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute of the match Jarvis Stevenson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Theodore Ferris skillfully saved the ball. In the 72ndth minute of the game Rene McCracken who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kapaa FC's Harry Joseph was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th minute Sonny Townsend shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Joseph saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sonny Townsend sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brian Wise's late challenge caught a Glenside AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brian Wise helped the player get up and apologised. Brian Wise kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Darnell Galindo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Harry Joseph made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Rene McCracken sent off a good shot on target. If Rene McCracken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theodore Ferris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geoff Tolbert in the 86th minute of play. With his leg Harry Joseph managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Glenside AFC's Rene McCracken fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rene McCracken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Harry Joseph tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 98th minute, Rene McCracken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
