Spectators: 7534 (Terracing: 5766, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sonny Townsend started the match with the kick off. Rene McCracken's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jed Bouchard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Bella Vista AFC's Jed Bouchard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sonny Townsend in the 6th minute of play. Jed Bouchard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sonny Townsend, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute Orlando McCall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodore Ferris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute Sonny Townsend shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jed Bouchard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rene McCracken got free with Jed Bouchard in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Glenside AFC's Theodore Ferris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moses Dickerson in the 32nd minute of play. Theodore Ferris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moses Dickerson in the 34th minute of play. Orlando McCall struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Theodore Ferris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bella Vista AFC. Glenside AFC's Theodore Ferris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moses Dickerson in the 43rd minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moses Dickerson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Bella Vista AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sonny Townsend came free, but Jed Bouchard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene McCracken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Bella Vista AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sonny Townsend came free, but Jed Bouchard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moses Dickerson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bella Vista AFC's Moses Dickerson got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sonny Townsend had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glenside AFC's Theodore Ferris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moses Dickerson in the 84th minute of play. When Moses Dickerson came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Bella Vista AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moses Dickerson couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene McCracken in the 94th minute of play forced Bella Vista AFC's goalkeeper Jed Bouchard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glenside AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
