Chalco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SPORTIVO MUNICIPAL the free kick. Domenico Murray kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Chalco's A.J. Burt threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ari Brandon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A.J. Burt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ari Brandon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quincy Fujieda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, SPORTIVO MUNICIPAL's Quincy Fujieda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Graham Bullock narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ari Brandon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Burt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cliff Robertson. With a little luck, SPORTIVO MUNICIPAL's A.J. Burt got control of the ball when Cliff Robertson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cliff Robertson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but A.J. Burt made a huge save. The attack was good, but when Cliff Robertson in the 41st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ari Brandon to make the kick off. A.J. Burt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ari Brandon in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Ari Brandon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chalco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The audience was convinced that Cliff Robertson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but A.J. Burt was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. A.J. Burt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cliff Robertson's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Cliff Robertson struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. A.J. Burt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chalco. SPORTIVO MUNICIPAL's A.J. Burt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ari Brandon in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Ari Brandon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. A.J. Burt was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Cliff Robertson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ari Brandon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Chalco's Cliff Robertson got a free kick in the 82nd minute. When Quincy Fujieda came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the SPORTIVO MUNICIPAL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quincy Fujieda couldn't finish the play. If Ari Brandon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cliff Robertson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. A.J. Burt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Chalco were the better team. Chalco's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
