Orlando McCall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Pena having to interfere. Simon Pena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moses Dickerson in the 8th minute of play. Moses Dickerson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Moses Dickerson came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Bella Vista AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moses Dickerson couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute, Quinn Pruett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Romeo Rasmussen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bella Vista AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Quinn Pruett was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 39 minutes into the game, Bernardo Blanchard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Plantation Key's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bella Vista AFC the free kick. A collision led to Plantation Key getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Plantation Key's Simon Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moses Dickerson in the 41st minute of play. Quinn Pruett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 48 played minutes, Plantation Key's Jefferson Engle shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jed Bouchard came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Plantation Key reached it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Quinn Pruett to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Dominic Sherman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neal Lovett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simon Pena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Bella Vista AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Quinn Pruett came free, but Jed Bouchard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orlando McCall might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Simon Pena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orlando McCall ran back to his position shaking his head. Moses Dickerson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Pena having to interfere. Romeo Rasmussen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had been going on for 71 minutes, Plantation Key's Wiley Acosta got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jed Bouchard. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Jed Bouchard successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Moses Dickerson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simon Pena having to make a save. Orlando McCall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Simon Pena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Plantation Key booed when Bella Vista AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korey Peralta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jed Bouchard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quinn Pruett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quinn Pruett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Korey Peralta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute, Orlando McCall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Plantation Key players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
