Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Scottie Wooten successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Wilbur Acosta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theodore Ferris having to interfere. Franklin Poe hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After taking down the ball on Gadsden's corner Nigel Crandall fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Theodore Ferris quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Alfredo Patten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gadsden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Patten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Wilbur Acosta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Theodore Ferris was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. In the 39th minute Alfredo Patten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodore Ferris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sonny Townsend stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilbur Acosta in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Theodore Ferris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilbur Acosta took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Theodore Ferris. Theodore Ferris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Wilbur Acosta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Theodore Ferris when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 60 minutes into the match, Glenside AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilbur Acosta came free, but Theodore Ferris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Patten struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Theodore Ferris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gadsden. Wilbur Acosta in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Theodore Ferris, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Nigel Crandall fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gadsden's protests and gave Nigel Crandall a yellow card for diving instead. Glenside AFC's Theodore Ferris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilbur Acosta in the 69th minute of play.
