Odell Babcock recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Syracuse FC's Clay Roberson got a free kick in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Albert Vinson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harry Joseph. Kapaa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albert Vinson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Albert Vinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Harry Joseph tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albert Vinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Albert Vinson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harry Joseph was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. When Odell Babcock came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Syracuse FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Odell Babcock couldn't finish the play. Syracuse FC's Albert Vinson got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Syracuse FC's Emery Browning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenic Marrero in the 35th minute of play. Clay Roberson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Harry Joseph tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jimmy Burke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Joseph having to interfere. Jarvis Stevenson kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Odell Babcock took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Harry Joseph. Harry Joseph dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Albert Vinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Harry Joseph tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domenic Marrero made a kick off. In the 56th match minute, Syracuse FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emerson Doyle to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute of the match Jarvis Stevenson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emery Browning showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caleb Coles during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Caleb Coles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Odell Babcock received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Harry Joseph came out and tried to block the shot, but Odell Babcock slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 63rd minute. When Hugh Metcalf fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kapaa FC's protests and gave Hugh Metcalf a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Kapaa FC's Hugh Metcalf got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kapaa FC's zone, Albert Vinson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harry Joseph came out of the goal and Albert Vinson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the match, Syracuse FC's Albert Vinson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Harry Joseph narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 95 minutes, Jimmy Burke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Syracuse FC and the Kapaa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Syracuse FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jimmy Burke hit a great ball. When the match was over Syracuse FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kapaa FC throughout the match.
