An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Townsend in the 19th minute of play forced Yawgoog F.C's goalkeeper Ulysses Spencer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yawgoog F.C's Nigel Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulysses Spencer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sonny Townsend, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glenside AFC's Theodore Ferris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Connors in the 30th minute of play. Sonny Townsend received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ulysses Spencer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rene McCracken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Glenside AFC's Sonny Townsend sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulysses Spencer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sonny Townsend made a kick off. Sonny Townsend received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ulysses Spencer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glenside AFC's Rene McCracken got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Sonny Townsend put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ulysses Spencer. Rodrigo Rojas kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Tobias Connors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franklin Poe hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, Glenside AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nigel Pereira came free, but Theodore Ferris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Townsend in the 69th minute of play forced Yawgoog F.C's goalkeeper Ulysses Spencer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rene McCracken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Darnell Galindo fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glenside AFC's protests and gave Darnell Galindo a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Yawgoog F.C a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Grady Swenson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Glenside AFC's Theodore Ferris. 1-3. In the 89th minute of the match, Rene McCracken got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ulysses Spencer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Rene McCracken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sonny Townsend fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses Spencer having to interfere. Nigel Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yawgoog F.C's Nigel Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Glenside AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Yawgoog F.C throughout the match.
