Ari Brandon started the match with the kick off. Glenside AFC's Theodore Ferris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas London in the 6th minute of play. Franklin Poe charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franklin Poe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Glenside AFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Franklin Poe hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Rodrigo Rojas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ari Brandon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ari Brandon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Theodore Ferris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Theodore Ferris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ari Brandon in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cliff Robertson in the 28th minute of play forced Glenside AFC's goalkeeper Theodore Ferris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Theodore Ferris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ari Brandon, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Rene McCracken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Graham Bullock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Cliff Robertson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ari Brandon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cliff Robertson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Theodore Ferris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 52nd match minute, Chalco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas London to maneuver through the defense. Glenside AFC's Theodore Ferris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Glenside AFC from getting a goal against them. Franklin Poe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Graham Bullock having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Ari Brandon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chalco's supporters rose to their feet, but Ari Brandon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theodore Ferris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cliff Robertson got free with Theodore Ferris in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Ari Brandon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Theodore Ferris was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. A collision led to Glenside AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Sonny Townsend hit a great ball. A collision led to Chalco getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Antoine Bright hit a great ball. Ari Brandon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Theodore Ferris came out and tried to block the shot, but Ari Brandon slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 91st minute. Rene McCracken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Graham Bullock having to interfere. If Sonny Townsend had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
