In the 26th match minute, Glenside AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Rojas to maneuver through the defense. Harry Joseph made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franklin Poe in the 29th minute. Sonny Townsend received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Harry Joseph tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Glenside AFC booed when Kapaa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caleb Coles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Theodore Ferris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geoff Tolbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 41st minute of the match Rodrigo Rojas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rodrigo Rojas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Rodrigo Rojas hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. If Rene McCracken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Glenside AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kapaa FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rene McCracken was the one to do the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kapaa FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! Darnell Galindo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Rene McCracken struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Harry Joseph didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glenside AFC. Harry Joseph showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene McCracken, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Rene McCracken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Franklin Poe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glenside AFC's Rene McCracken got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Theodore Ferris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geoff Tolbert in the 86th minute. Caleb Coles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rene McCracken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 95th minute, Glenside AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Geoff Tolbert fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Franklin Poe charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franklin Poe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Geoff Tolbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute.
