After 29 minutes of play, La Scaloneta FC's Denny Winters made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. A.J. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sterling Strong to strike the kick off in the second half. When Denny Winters came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the La Scaloneta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denny Winters couldn't finish the play. Henry Hill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicholas Brunson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicholas Brunson in the 59th minute of play forced La Scaloneta FC's goalkeeper Henry Hill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sterling Strong succeeded in the game's 61st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. SPORTIVO MUNICIPAL's A.J. Burt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sterling Strong in the 69th minute of play. Sterling Strong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without A.J. Burt having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quincy Fujieda in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henry Hill prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute, Daron Byrd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Denny Winters notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of SPORTIVO MUNICIPAL's A.J. Burt. A.J. Burt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute, Sterling Strong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the game, Nelson Garza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Scaloneta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SPORTIVO MUNICIPAL the free kick. After 91 played minutes La Scaloneta FC got a freekick which was hit by Nelson Garza. In the 96th minute Nicholas Brunson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Hill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Scaloneta FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
