Whitney Herron struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Shane Owen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Warmachine FC. In the 11th minute, Chuck Doherty fired a really elegant long shot, but Shane Owen threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Whitney Herron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodolfo Stahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Shane Owen managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Warmachine FC's Whitney Herron fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 0-1 became the score in the 20th minute when Javier Vance elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Shane Owen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Stahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shane Owen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Stahl in the 32nd minute of play. Rodolfo Stahl might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Shane Owen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodolfo Stahl ran back to his position shaking his head. Rodolfo Stahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shane Owen having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atlanta Vikings fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 39 minutes, Warmachine FC's Chuck Doherty got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Shane Owen. After a rather tough play, Warmachine FC's Doug Mallory got a free kick in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Jeremiah Lambert notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Warmachine FC's Garry Ransom. Garry Ransom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeremiah Lambert to make the kick off. Whitney Herron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Shane Owen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garry Ransom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremiah Lambert in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute of the match, Javier Vance got a very nice opportunity to score, but Garry Ransom was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 64 minutes into the match, Atlanta Vikings's goal looked a bit too open when Whitney Herron came free, but Shane Owen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rodolfo Stahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Stahl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Shane Owen. Atlanta Vikings's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodolfo Stahl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Whitney Herron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Whitney Herron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shane Owen was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Jake Lynn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Garry Ransom made a huge save. After 91 played minutes Warmachine FC got a freekick which was hit by Doug Mallory. If Rodolfo Stahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Whitney Herron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Warmachine FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Whitney Herron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shane Owen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Shane Owen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Stahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Warmachine FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
