Jarvis McCollum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Foster Dickerson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, IFK Osteraker's goalkeeper Jarvis McCollum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clay Farr. After some careless play in the Clearwater defense, Dirk Costello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raymond Barrios. The Clearwater fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raymond Barrios should have stopped the shot. Shelby Sweet kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Dirk Costello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kevin Ambrose hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Clearwater's zone, Odell Engle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raymond Barrios came out of the goal and Odell Engle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Odell Engle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Odell Engle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Odell Engle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raymond Barrios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, IFK Osteraker's goalkeeper Jarvis McCollum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clay Farr. After some careless play in the IFK Osteraker defense, Rodrigo Strickland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarvis McCollum. The IFK Osteraker fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarvis McCollum should have stopped the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Foster Dickerson to strike the kick off in the second half. Dirk Costello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Raymond Barrios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jarvis McCollum didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clay Farr went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Clay Farr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jarvis McCollum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, IFK Osteraker's goal looked a bit too open when Foster Dickerson came free, but Jarvis McCollum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Clearwater booed when IFK Osteraker was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bronson Bannister didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clay Farr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarvis McCollum having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Osteraker's zone, Foster Dickerson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarvis McCollum came out of the goal and Foster Dickerson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Clay Farr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Odell Engle struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Raymond Barrios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Osteraker. Clay Farr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarvis McCollum having to interfere. IFK Osteraker's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
