Charles Stover sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute of the match Bryon Medrano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jarvis McCollum skillfully saved the ball. A hard shot 12 in the game by Odell Engle from a close distance when the talented Stuart Browne managed to make a qualified save. Bekasi FC's players were relieved. Jarvis McCollum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Stover, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Bekasi FC's Charles Stover nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jarvis McCollum made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Dirk Costello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. Bekasi FC's Stuart Browne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dirk Costello in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Bekasi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dirk Costello came free, but Stuart Browne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dirk Costello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 36th minute Terence Starnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarvis McCollum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Charles Stover had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Terence Starnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jarvis McCollum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind IFK Osteraker's goalkeeper Jarvis McCollum, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dirk Costello in the 48th minute of play forced Bekasi FC's goalkeeper Stuart Browne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Stuart Browne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dirk Costello in the 53rd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Terence Starnes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jarvis McCollum, 1-3. With an all-out effort, Bekasi FC's Jarvis McCollum threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Terence Starnes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Bekasi FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bekasi FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
