After some careless play in the Clearwater defense, Tyrone Blackburn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raymond Barrios. The Clearwater fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raymond Barrios should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Clearwater's Leon Quintana got a free kick in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Clearwater's goalkeeper Raymond Barrios had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Odell Baca. When Clearwater's Clay Farr in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye dracko f.c's goalie prevented a goal. Alonzo Blount made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Foster Dickerson in the 15th minute of play. dracko f.c's Alonzo Blount played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Foster Dickerson in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Clay Farr left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clearwater fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Luke Earl struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Raymond Barrios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for dracko f.c. When Andrew Burris fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clearwater's protests and gave Andrew Burris a yellow card for diving instead. Tyrone Blackburn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymond Barrios having to interfere. A collision led to Clearwater getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Andrew Burris hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, dracko f.c's Odell Baca tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Clearwater's goal looked a bit too open when Luke Earl came free, but Raymond Barrios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 played minutes Clearwater got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Strickland. After taking down the ball on dracko f.c's corner Odell Baca fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Raymond Barrios quite easily take care of the ball. If Luke Earl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luke Earl received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Raymond Barrios came out and tried to block the shot, but Luke Earl slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 41st minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luke Earl was the one to do the kick off. Geoff Bower charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geoff Bower the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of dracko f.c:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Clearwater:s goal. When the match had been going on for 57 minutes, Clearwater's Andrew Burris got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alonzo Blount. Raymond Barrios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luke Earl in the 60th minute of play. dracko f.c's Tyrone Blackburn got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Tyrone Blackburn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clay Farr kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 67thth minute. Though ot was a great shot dracko f.c's keeper Alonzo Blount was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. The supporters of Clearwater booed when dracko f.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Odell Baca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tyrone Blackburn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raymond Barrios having to make a save. Foster Dickerson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Alonzo Blount tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind dracko f.c's goalkeeper Alonzo Blount, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Clearwater's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
