Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Sung Uhl started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Lopezville's zone, Sung Uhl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keith Plummer came out of the goal and Sung Uhl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brady Gorman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keith Plummer having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Sung Uhl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gate City FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sung Uhl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keith Plummer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dalton Pate kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. With a little luck, Gate City FC's Jarod Lind got control of the ball when Zack Padgett tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brady Gorman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keith Plummer having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Sung Uhl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gate City FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gate City FC's Jarod Lind proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Gate City FC from getting a goal against them. If Zack Padgett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

57 minutes into the match, Lopezville's goalkeeper Keith Plummer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brady Gorman. After having played for 64 minutes, Zack Padgett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lopezville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zack Padgett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 66 played minutes Lopezville got a freekick which was hit by Zack Padgett. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Zack Padgett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lopezville's supporters rose to their feet, but Zack Padgett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarod Lind breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, Gate City FC's Sung Uhl ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Keith Plummer. Keith Plummer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Lenny Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Gate City FC's Ron Langley tried to score from far away in the 88th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 95thth minute of the game Edgardo Hadley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gate City FC's Jarod Lind was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Gate City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zack Padgett came free, but Jarod Lind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gate City FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
