The crowd rose to their feet as Triton Central FC's Dalton Shook slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Toby Worthington. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. The supporters of Hartwell FC booed when Triton Central FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silas Michaud didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Denis Leon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthew Powell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Javier Mercer during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Javier Mercer hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Dalton Shook was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. Triton Central FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Toby Worthington came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Triton Central FC's Matthew Powell. But to his dismay, Matthew Powell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 25thth minute of the game Denis Leon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Triton Central FC's Rashad Carmona was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Leon in the 27th minute of play forced Triton Central FC's goalkeeper Rashad Carmona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Denis Leon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hartwell FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Leon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rashad Carmona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Denis Leon made the kick off in the second half. Toby Worthington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalton Shook in the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Dalton Shook hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hartwell FC's goalkeeper Toby Worthington, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rashad Carmona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Leon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dalton Shook had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthew Powell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Toby Worthington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Javier Mercer came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rashad Carmona could save by the left post. Javier Mercer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Rashad Carmona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hartwell FC's Javier Mercer got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, one of Triton Central FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Triton Central FC. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Triton Central FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hartwell FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
