The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Wendell Kimbrough managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rush NM's supporters rose to their feet, but Wendell Kimbrough was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eldon Dennis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lamar Crow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Roberts in the 9th minute of the match. Geoffrey Parrish blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lamar Crow having to make a save. Lamar Crow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Roberts, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21stth minute of the game Wendell Kimbrough who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sacachispas's Eldon Dennis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Simon Roberts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wendell Kimbrough recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ross Pryor came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Rush NM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ross Pryor couldn't finish the play. Eldon Dennis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wendell Kimbrough, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Manuel Vasquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44thth minute of the game Wendell Kimbrough who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sacachispas's Eldon Dennis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Geoffrey Parrish received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Lamar Crow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Simon Roberts made the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Cyrus Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rush NM and the Sacachispas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Simon Roberts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eldon Dennis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wendell Kimbrough, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wendell Kimbrough in the 66th minute of play forced Sacachispas's goalkeeper Eldon Dennis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Wendell Kimbrough's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eldon Dennis was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Rush NM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wendell Kimbrough was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 76 minutes in the game, Wendell Kimbrough fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eldon Dennis having to interfere. When Ross Pryor, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 77 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Eldon Dennis was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wendell Kimbrough in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eldon Dennis saved Sacachispas from getting behind. Wendell Kimbrough recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wendell Kimbroughs short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Eldon Dennis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Ross Pryor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 90th minute of the match Rueben Turner completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rueben Turner a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 90th minute, Rueben Turner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wendell Kimbrough recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ross Pryor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Eldon Dennis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Sacachispas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rush NM's performance. The match ended with a win for Rush NM.
