Spectators: 7648 (Terracing: 5800, Seating: 1778, VIP seats: 70) Rosamond FC's Marlin Rose started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Brendan Field didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vito Workman went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marlin Rose in the 8th minute of play forced Pantless Thundergeese's goalkeeper Brendan Field to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Rosamond FC's Trey Hooks got a free kick in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rosamond FC's zone, Trent Healy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Luther came out of the goal and Trent Healy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Pantless Thundergeese getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Cory Evans hit a great ball. Pantless Thundergeese's Brendan Field played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohammed Barnett in the 19th minute of play. Trent Healy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Luther having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicholas Drummond in the 27th minute of play forced Pantless Thundergeese's goalkeeper Brendan Field to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Pantless Thundergeese's Trent Healy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dario Luther made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Harvey Cronin kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Vito Workman's late challenge caught a Pantless Thundergeese's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vito Workman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th match minute, Rosamond FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vito Workman to maneuver through the defense. Brendan Field showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicholas Drummond, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Nicholas Drummond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Brendan Field tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nicholas Drummond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Darell Arias made a kick off. When Darell Arias came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Pantless Thundergeese fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darell Arias couldn't finish the play. Dario Luther took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darell Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nicholas Drummond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st match minute, Pantless Thundergeese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harvey Cronin to maneuver through the defense. If Marlin Rose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marlin Rose fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendan Field having to interfere. If Marlin Rose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Darell Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pantless Thundergeese's supporters rose to their feet, but Darell Arias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dario Luther breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Darell Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Trey Hooks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rosamond FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jorge Sherwood was slow to take the kick. During this time Pantless Thundergeese's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Pantless Thundergeese's Jorge Sherwood to fire away a dangerous shot which Dario Luther despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Rosamond FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Pantless Thundergeese from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
