Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Elmhurst AFC's Vance Vann started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerome Camacho during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jerome Camacho kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Kristopher Grayson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Allan Russo in the 6th minute. In the 14th match minute, New Providence FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lazaro Tharp to maneuver through the defense. After 22 minutes, Basil Barlow mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elmhurst AFC and the New Providence FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Elmhurst AFC's Basil Barlow got a free kick in the 22nd minute. New Providence FC's Gustavo Chin got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustavo Chin hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Elmhurst AFC's goalkeeper Kristopher Grayson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Allan Russo. Allen Small could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Kristopher Grayson made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Elmhurst AFC's Ernie Marrero got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After 35 played minutes New Providence FC got a freekick which was hit by Lazaro Tharp. Casey Murray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nathan Chase, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Elmhurst AFC's zone, Allan Russo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristopher Grayson came out of the goal and Allan Russo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roscoe Jacob kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. If Allan Russo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Elmhurst AFC's Ernie Marrero got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Allan Russo to make the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Allen Small managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Providence FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allen Small was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Allen Small took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristopher Grayson. Kristopher Grayson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After some careless play in the Elmhurst AFC defense, Gustavo Chin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristopher Grayson. The Elmhurst AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristopher Grayson should have stopped the shot. In the 67th match minute, Elmhurst AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nathan Chase to maneuver through the defense. Bret Shepherd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 69 played minutes New Providence FC got a freekick which was hit by Will Guevara. Elmhurst AFC's Kristopher Grayson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonso Moreno in the 73rd minute of play. In the 79th minute, Allen Small left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New Providence FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Rod Stephens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elmhurst AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rod Stephens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casey Murray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Elmhurst AFC booed when New Providence FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allen Small didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ernie Marrero fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elmhurst AFC's protests and gave Ernie Marrero a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute Allan Russo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristopher Grayson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the New Providence FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
