In the 4th minute, Jeff Baird got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeff Baird fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendan Field having to interfere. Gerald Aldrich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darell Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rory Adams in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brendan Field prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the game, Woodlands FC's Dean Rhodes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brendan Field made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Woodlands FC's Gerald Aldrich proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Woodlands FC from getting a goal against them. Quincy Walton kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 31 minutes, Harvey Cronin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pantless Thundergeese and the Woodlands FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Pantless Thundergeese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harvey Cronin to maneuver through the defense. A nice corner shot did that Giuseppe Moses got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Brendan Field quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Trent Healy got free with Gerald Aldrich in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Woodlands FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Darell Arias to strike the kick off in the second half. Salvador Lyons struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Brendan Field didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Woodlands FC. If Dean Rhodes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute Harvey Cronin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerald Aldrich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Pantless Thundergeese getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Marlon Shea hit a great ball. With his leg Brendan Field managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Woodlands FC's Rory Adams fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Brendan Field made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dean Rhodes in the 63rd minute. Pantless Thundergeese's Brendan Field played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rory Adams in the 68th minute of play. With his leg Brendan Field managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Woodlands FC's Rory Adams fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Pedro Blanchard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brendan Field showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dean Rhodes, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Pantless Thundergeese's Brendan Field proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Pantless Thundergeese from getting a goal against them. Brendan Field made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dustin Barnett in the 85th minute of play. Jeff Baird was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Rory Adams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerald Aldrich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darell Arias in the 94th minute of play. Brendan Field made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Blanchard in the 96th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Jeff Baird made a precise shot to the right of Brendan Field. Pantless Thundergeese's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The Pantless Thundergeese fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Woodlands FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
