Montana FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HBG Knoxville the free kick. The supporters of HBG Knoxville booed when Montana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Van Boyle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rashad Saunders stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abraham Witherspoon's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Abraham Witherspoon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Rashad Saunders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
