Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nigel Puckett kicked off to start the match. In the 7thth minute of the game Nigel Puckett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rosa Melano's Alfred Coffman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 8th match minute, Burien was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Waldron to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Stuart Walter from long distance, 9 minutes into the match, got Luis Simon's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quentin Dupree in the 14th minute of play forced Burien's goalkeeper Luis Simon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nigel Puckett took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfred Coffman. Alfred Coffman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nigel Puckett in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfred Coffman saved Rosa Melano from getting behind. 29 minutes into the match, Rosa Melano's Maurice Gillespie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luis Simon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Junior Barnard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nigel Puckett kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Nigel Puckett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Coffman having to interfere. Franklin Ackerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maurice Gillespie to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maurice Gillespie in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Simon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luis Simon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurice Gillespie, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Levi Greenwood kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Burien's Luis Simon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurice Gillespie in the 66th minute of play. In the 66th match minute, Burien was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Levi Greenwood to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Burien's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Barnard came free, but Luis Simon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Simon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Junior Barnard in the 69th minute of the match. After having played for 72 minutes, Junior Barnard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosa Melano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Junior Barnard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Rosa Melano's Alfred Coffman got control of the ball when Franklin Ackerman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rosa Melano's Maurice Gillespie got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Junior Barnard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luis Simon was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Maurice Gillespie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Simon having to interfere. In the 87th minute Maurice Gillespie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Simon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Burien's zone, Junior Barnard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Simon came out of the goal and Junior Barnard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luis Simon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Barnard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Burien's goal looked a bit too open when Maurice Gillespie came free, but Luis Simon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Junior Barnard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Simon having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Junior Barnard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosa Melano's supporters rose to their feet, but Junior Barnard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Simon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
