Spectators: 6766 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rudolf Wilhelm took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lucien Rhodes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Wilhelm in the 3rd minute of play. After having played for 7 minutes, Gerald McMullen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spartak NY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerald McMullen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Spartak NY's Lucien Rhodes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quintin Bean in the 11th minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match, Tyson Stahl got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bailey Arthur was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 20th minute of the match Pedro Delgado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucien Rhodes skillfully saved the ball. After 23 minutes, Arturo Powell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spartak NY and the Spirit Lake FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Spartak NY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Powell to maneuver through the defense. Spartak NY's Lucien Rhodes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Wilhelm in the 25th minute of play. Spirit Lake FC's Bailey Arthur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerald McMullen in the 26th minute of play. When Quintin Bean came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Spirit Lake FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quintin Bean couldn't finish the play. When Donny Hager fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spartak NY's protests and gave Donny Hager a yellow card for diving instead. Donny Hager kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Quintin Bean took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucien Rhodes. Lucien Rhodes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Rudolf Wilhelm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucien Rhodes having to interfere. Bailey Arthur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerald McMullen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerald McMullen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Tyson Stahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bailey Arthur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gerald McMullen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute Rudolf Wilhelm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Rhodes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rudolf Wilhelm came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Spirit Lake FC fans jumped to their feet. Lucien Rhodes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alec Ashley. After 74 minutes, Jarvis Hogan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spirit Lake FC and the Spartak NY players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 74 played minutes Spirit Lake FC got a freekick which was hit by Jarvis Hogan. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgilio Rivera during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Spirit Lake FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Virgilio Rivera hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerald McMullen in the 78th minute of play forced Spirit Lake FC's goalkeeper Bailey Arthur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82ndth minute of the game Tyson Stahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spirit Lake FC's Bailey Arthur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gerald McMullen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerald McMullen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 played minutes Spirit Lake FC got a freekick which was hit by Jarvis Hogan. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Gerald McMullen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spartak NY's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerald McMullen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bailey Arthur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Tyson Stahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerald McMullen charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerald McMullen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Spirit Lake FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
