Spectators: 6769 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gerald McMullen made the kick off which started today's match. Raptors's Renaldo Green played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerald McMullen in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Jonah Pendleton notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Spartak NY's Lucien Rhodes. Lucien Rhodes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Spartak NY defense, Wally Bernstein kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucien Rhodes. The Spartak NY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucien Rhodes should have stopped the shot. Lucien Rhodes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wally Bernstein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 minutes, Jonah Pendleton made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Spartak NY's Lucien Rhodes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Spartak NY's goalkeeper Lucien Rhodes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute Jonah Pendleton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Rhodes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tyson Stahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Raptors's zone, Gerald McMullen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renaldo Green came out of the goal and Gerald McMullen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tyson Stahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renaldo Green having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Wally Bernstein ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucien Rhodes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Jonah Pendleton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Lucien Rhodes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Wally Bernstein made the kick off in the second half. Renaldo Green showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyson Stahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Gerald McMullen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Tyson Stahl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spartak NY's supporters rose to their feet, but Tyson Stahl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renaldo Green breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Raptors getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Edward Frank hit a great ball. Tyson Stahl hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. A collision led to Spartak NY getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Donny Hager hit a great ball. In the 67th minute Wally Bernstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Rhodes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wally Bernstein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Spartak NY's Donny Hager got a free kick in the 76th minute. Lucien Rhodes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wally Bernstein in the 78th minute of play. Renaldo Green came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Spartak NY's Tyson Stahl. But to his dismay, Tyson Stahl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 90th minute, Jonah Pendleton made a precise shot to the right of Lucien Rhodes. Spartak NY's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5.
