Diego Willoughby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucien Rhodes having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Bo Herman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hanamaulu FC's Diego Willoughby in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Spartak NY's goalie prevented a goal. If Diego Willoughby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neil Corona hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Diego Willoughby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucien Rhodes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Willoughby, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Gregorio Mims could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Lucien Rhodes made a huge save. Diego Willoughby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Lucien Rhodes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerald McMullen in the 47th minute of play forced Hanamaulu FC's goalkeeper Taylor Boyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Willoughby was the one to do the kick off. Lucien Rhodes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Willoughby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the match, Diego Willoughby notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Spartak NY's Lucien Rhodes. Lucien Rhodes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69th minute of the match, Tyson Stahl got a very nice opportunity to score, but Taylor Boyer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 74 minutes into the match, Hanamaulu FC's goalkeeper Taylor Boyer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tyson Stahl. Billy Maher scored 3-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucien Rhodes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Willoughby in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucien Rhodes saved Spartak NY from getting behind. Gregorio Mims struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Lucien Rhodes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hanamaulu FC. In the 92nd match minute, Spartak NY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donny Hager to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute Diego Willoughby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Rhodes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
