Spectators: 7831 (Terracing: 5874, Seating: 1801, VIP seats: 156) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Troy Mitchell started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Greg Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Raptors getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Tyson Joiner hit a great ball. After 8 minutes, Bennett Phillips mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Houston Rockets and the Raptors players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Houston Rockets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bennett Phillips to maneuver through the defense. Troy Mitchell's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Renaldo Green skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Troy Mitchell who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Renaldo Green when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Raptors's Wally Bernstein got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Lenny Lehman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Houston Rockets's goal looked a bit too open when Wally Bernstein came free, but Sterling House reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Raptors getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Jonah Pendleton hit a great ball. Bennett Phillips sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 30 minutes, Wally Bernstein mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Raptors and the Houston Rockets players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wally Bernstein kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Troy Mitchells short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Renaldo Green to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Troy Mitchell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Houston Rockets's supporters rose to their feet, but Troy Mitchell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renaldo Green breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Troy Mitchell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wally Bernstein to make the kick off. Leon Miles kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Bennett Phillips sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bennett Phillips fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renaldo Green having to interfere. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Raptors's goalkeeper Renaldo Green, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bennett Phillips fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renaldo Green having to interfere. If Jonah Pendleton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Houston Rockets's Walter Sewell got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Troy Mitchell sped through Raptors's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Renaldo Green. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Troy Mitchell put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Renaldo Green. Renaldo Green showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bennett Phillips in the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Tyson Joiner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Renaldo Green stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Troy Mitchell's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute Troy Mitchell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renaldo Green saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bennett Phillips recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Renaldo Green took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Troy Mitchell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raptors's Renaldo Green played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Troy Mitchell in the 95th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Raptors's zone, Troy Mitchell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renaldo Green came out of the goal and Troy Mitchell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
