In the 3rd minute, Darryl Blackburn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rudolph Lusk made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Jonah Pendleton sent off a good shot on target. Leonard Roy kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Jonah Pendleton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raptors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonah Pendleton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 10 minutes, Lonnie Ezell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shawnee AFC and the Raptors players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Shawnee AFC's Lonnie Ezell got a free kick in the 10th minute. With his leg Rudolph Lusk managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Raptors's Jonah Pendleton fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Shawnee AFC's Rudolph Lusk got control of the ball when Jonah Pendleton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Darryl Blackburn's late challenge caught a Shawnee AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darryl Blackburn helped the player get up and apologised. Darryl Blackburn hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Austin Mullen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute Wally Bernstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolph Lusk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reinaldo Stanton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renaldo Green having to interfere. Renaldo Green made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kirk Watt in the 43rd minute of play. When Reinaldo Stanton came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Shawnee AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reinaldo Stanton couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Reinaldo Stanton got free with Renaldo Green in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rudolph Lusk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonah Pendleton, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Reinaldo Stanton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reinaldo Stanton struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Renaldo Green didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shawnee AFC. 64 minutes into the match, Shawnee AFC's Reinaldo Stanton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renaldo Green narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Raptors's Tyson Joiner got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 70th minute, Reinaldo Stanton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Reinaldo Stanton came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Shawnee AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reinaldo Stanton couldn't finish the play. Reinaldo Stanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shawnee AFC's Lonnie Ezell got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Reinaldo Stanton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Renaldo Green. Raptors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reinaldo Stanton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Wally Bernstein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shawnee AFC played a much better game than Raptors and deserved their victory. The Raptors players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
