But to his dismay, Dalton Goss quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Buitres F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jamel Read came free, but Donnie Orlinsky reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Pascal Simpson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buitres F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Pascal Simpson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. With a little luck, Cherry Splitters's Napoleon Beltran got control of the ball when Pascal Simpson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Donnie Orlinsky made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalton Goss in the 33rd minute of play. Donnie Orlinsky showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamel Read, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cherry Splitters's goalkeeper Napoleon Beltran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pascal Simpson got free with Napoleon Beltran in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dalton Goss made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Cherry Splitters's Dalton Goss sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donnie Orlinsky narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 59 minutes into the game, Rico Poe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buitres F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cherry Splitters the free kick. The supporters of Cherry Splitters booed when Buitres F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rico Poe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Randall Eckert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Buitres F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cherry Splitters:s goal. Donnie Orlinsky had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Jerrod Phillips's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 70 minutes of play, Cherry Splitters's Jerrod Phillips made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donnie Orlinsky was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Darryl Pereira in the 75th minute of play forced Cherry Splitters's goalkeeper Napoleon Beltran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 played minutes Cherry Splitters got a freekick which was hit by Jerrod Phillips. 79 minutes into the match, Buitres F.C.'s Pascal Simpson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Napoleon Beltran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jerrod Phillips hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Buitres F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rich Burrows in the 90th minute. Elvis Mueller was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Pascal Simpson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 100th minute Dalton Goss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donnie Orlinsky saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Cherry Splitters players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
