An unexpectedly hard shot by Brice Poole in the 12th minute of play forced Cherry Splitters's goalkeeper Napoleon Beltran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 minutes of play, Crosby FC's Ahmed Hedrick made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Napoleon Beltran was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Crosby FC's Aidan Pritchard in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Aidan Pritchard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Napoleon Beltran was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. When Crosby FC's Aidan Pritchard in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cherry Splitters's goalie prevented a goal. 40 minutes into the match, Cherry Splitters's Chuck Kraft sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jarod Pennington narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42nd minute of the match Cherry Splitters got a corner. Crosby FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jerrod Phillips ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ahmed Hedrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napoleon Beltran having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ahmed Hedrick's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Napoleon Beltran was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Ahmed Hedrick struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Napoleon Beltran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crosby FC. A collision led to Cherry Splitters getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Scotty Gregory hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, David Hand made a precise shot to the right of Napoleon Beltran. Cherry Splitters's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Lawrence Vazquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dan Platt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Napoleon Beltran made a huge save. After 66 played minutes Cherry Splitters got a freekick which was hit by Jospeh North. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmed Hedrick in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Napoleon Beltran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lamar Dunlap blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Napoleon Beltran having to make a save. Napoleon Beltran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Hedrick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Napoleon Beltran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Hedrick in the 75th minute of the match. With a little luck, Cherry Splitters's Napoleon Beltran got control of the ball when Dan Platt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cherry Splitters's Napoleon Beltran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Hedrick in the 82nd minute of play. If Aidan Pritchard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Cherry Splitters defense, Dan Platt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Napoleon Beltran. The Cherry Splitters fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Napoleon Beltran should have stopped the shot.
