Rocky Escobedos short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Emmitt Myers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 14th match minute, Gibson AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Pugh to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rex Levine in the 15th minute of play forced Gibson AFC's goalkeeper Cyrus Mueller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Rex Levine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyrus Mueller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 minutes, Lance Emery mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gibson AFC and the Armona players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cyrus Mueller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rex Levine in the 22nd minute of play. After 22 played minutes Gibson AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dario Doran. Emmitt Myers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rocky Escobedo in the 26th minute of play. Armona's Emmitt Myers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Armona from getting a goal against them. Cyrus Mueller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rex Levine, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 39thth minute of the game Rocky Escobedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Armona's Emmitt Myers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Rex Levine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cyrus Mueller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sherman Abernathy in the 42nd minute of play. Cyrus Mueller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rex Levine in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rex Levine in the 46th minute of play forced Gibson AFC's goalkeeper Cyrus Mueller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rex Levine stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Gibson AFC's zone, Rex Levine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cyrus Mueller came out of the goal and Rex Levine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th match minute, Armona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brad Gee to maneuver through the defense. Emmitt Myers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rocky Escobedo's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Rex Levine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 67 played minutes, Armona's Fabian Whitehead shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cyrus Mueller came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Armona reached it. Dario Doran kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. When Sherman Abernathy came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Armona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sherman Abernathy couldn't finish the play. After 71 played minutes Armona got a freekick which was hit by Bryan Espinosa. The crowd rose to their feet as Rex Levine kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cyrus Mueller. That made the score 0-1 in the 73 minute of play. In the 76th minute Rex Levine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyrus Mueller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dario Doran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emmitt Myers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rocky Escobedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emmitt Myers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rocky Escobedo in the 83rd minute of the match. Cyrus Mueller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rex Levine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gibson AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Bryan Espinosa scored to the left of an out of position Cyrus Mueller, making the score, 0-3. The Gibson AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Armona's performance. The match ended with a win for Armona.
