Spectators: 6450 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1300, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 3rd minute Palmer Morse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donnie Orlinsky saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Gilbert Rutledge left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The YENER FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Darryl Pereira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gilberto Barajas, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darryl Pereira in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Barajas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Palmer Morse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donnie Orlinsky was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After 22 minutes, Damon Griggs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the YENER FC and the Buitres F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Damon Griggs hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Darryl Pereira hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Buitres F.C.'s Rico Poe got a free kick in the 25th minute. YENER FC's Damon Griggs got his second yellow card of the match in the 32nd minute. Rich Burrows was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, YENER FC's Mohammad Diamond got a free kick in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darryl Pereira in the 36th minute of play forced YENER FC's goalkeeper Gilberto Barajas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute of the match Buitres F.C. got a corner. YENER FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rich Burrows ran over to the corner to take the kick. Buitres F.C.'s Rich Burrows was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gilberto Barajas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gilberto Barajas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darryl Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rico Poe's late challenge caught a YENER FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rico Poe helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of YENER FC booed when Buitres F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rico Poe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darryl Pereira might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilberto Barajas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Darryl Pereira ran back to his position shaking his head. Pascal Simpson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Gilberto Barajas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pascal Simpson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Darryl Pereira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Palmer Morse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, YENER FC's goal looked a bit too open when Darryl Pereira came free, but Gilberto Barajas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Barajas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascal Simpson in the 58th minute of play. Gilbert Rutledge's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Donnie Orlinsky skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 64th minute, Rico Poe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gilbert Rutledge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, YENER FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pascal Simpson came free, but Gilberto Barajas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Barajas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascal Simpson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascal Simpson in the 75th minute of play forced YENER FC's goalkeeper Gilberto Barajas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gilbert Rutledge fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored YENER FC's protests and gave Gilbert Rutledge a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute, Gilbert Rutledge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Buitres F.C. booed when YENER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre Webber didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 played minutes, Buitres F.C.'s Rich Burrows shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gilberto Barajas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Buitres F.C. reached it. Pascal Simpson struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Gilberto Barajas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buitres F.C.. The supporters of Buitres F.C. booed when YENER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Palmer Morse didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Buitres F.C. fully deserved thier win.
