Dan Platt took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilberto Barajas. Gilberto Barajas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Ahmed Hedrick managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crosby FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmed Hedrick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Barajas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marco Messer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gilberto Barajas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. YENER FC's Gilberto Barajas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lawrence Vazquez in the 17th minute of play. If Lamar Dunlap had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. YENER FC were furious when Alexander Whitaker was red carded, 28 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in YENER FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! Gilberto Barajas had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Ahmed Hedrick's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ronald Ogden kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Gilberto Barajas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmed Hedrick's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Marco Messer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Barajas having to interfere. Gilberto Barajas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aidan Pritchard, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Aidan Pritchard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Gilberto Barajas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Aidan Pritchard notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of YENER FC's Gilberto Barajas. Gilberto Barajas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Marco Messer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dan Platt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zachary Stone's late challenge caught a Crosby FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zachary Stone helped the player get up and apologised. Zachary Stone hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmed Hedrick in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilberto Barajas saved YENER FC from getting behind. In the 68th minute, Dan Platt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dan Platt got free with Gilberto Barajas in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in YENER FC's zone, Marco Messer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Barajas came out of the goal and Marco Messer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmed Hedrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 minutes, Damon Griggs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the YENER FC and the Crosby FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, YENER FC's Damon Griggs got a free kick in the 74th minute. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by YENER FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ahmed Hedrick was slow to take the kick. During this time Crosby FC's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to YENER FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Palmer Morse hit a great ball. Marco Messer might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilberto Barajas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Messer ran back to his position shaking his head. Gilberto Barajas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmed Hedrick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 82 in the game by Dan Platt from a close distance when the talented Gilberto Barajas managed to make a qualified save. YENER FC's players were relieved. Marco Messer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute of the match, Dan Platt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gilberto Barajas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmed Hedrick in the 88th minute of play forced YENER FC's goalkeeper Gilberto Barajas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Platt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Gilberto Barajas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilbert Rutledge charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilbert Rutledge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
