Young Gould started the match with the kick off. 0-1 became the score in the 11th minute when Young Gould elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 20th minute Young Gould shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napoleon Beltran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leroy Aranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Napoleon Beltran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Cherry Splitters booed when Floral City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglass Pham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Bridges made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Jamel Read sent off a good shot on target. Domenico Trent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napoleon Beltran having to interfere. Jerrod Phillips kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Adrian Gore did an outstanding performance 47 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-2 to the right of an irritated Napoleon Beltran in the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dalton Goss was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Floral City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglass Pham to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leroy Aranda got free with Napoleon Beltran in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leroy Aranda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Napoleon Beltran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. If Jamel Read had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jamel Read came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Cherry Splitters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jamel Read couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Floral City's Leroy Aranda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Napoleon Beltran. That made the score 0-3 after 71 minutes of play. Leroy Aranda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Napoleon Beltran having to make a save. After 77 played minutes Floral City got a freekick which was hit by Douglass Pham. Jamel Read sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the game, Domenico Trent was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Floral City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cherry Splitters the free kick. After a rather tough play, Floral City's Domenico Trent got a free kick in the 89th minute. Jamel Read received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Martin Bridges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Floral City's goal looked a bit too open when Jamel Read came free, but Martin Bridges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Cherry Splitters supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Floral City's performance. The match ended with a win for Floral City.
