Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dalton Goss made the kick off which started today's match. When Rex Levine got free in front of the goal in the 6th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Napoleon Beltran was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Napoleon Beltran came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Armona's Sherman Abernathy. But to his dismay, Sherman Abernathy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Chuck Kraft's late challenge caught a Armona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chuck Kraft helped the player get up and apologised. After 13 played minutes Cherry Splitters got a freekick which was hit by Chuck Kraft. Fabian Whitehead took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Napoleon Beltran. Cherry Splitters's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Emmitt Myers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jamel Read, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamel Read in the 20th minute of play forced Armona's goalkeeper Emmitt Myers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emmitt Myers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamel Read, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Bryan Espinosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Napoleon Beltran having to make a save. Napoleon Beltran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rex Levine in the 34th minute of play. When Rex Levine came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Armona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rex Levine couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Cherry Splitters's zone, Sherman Abernathy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Napoleon Beltran came out of the goal and Sherman Abernathy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sherman Abernathy made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 44thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Napoleon Beltran would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Rex Levine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 53 minutes into the match, Cherry Splitters's goal looked a bit too open when Sherman Abernathy came free, but Napoleon Beltran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
