Darin Mims kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. If Darryl Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Rico Poe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 played minutes Darin Cardona scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Donnie Orlinsky who was too lazy, 2-0. After having played for 24 minutes, Mickey Romano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ossian AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mickey Romano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute Pascal Simpson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglass Meyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Buitres F.C.'s Darryl Pereira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Douglass Meyer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee gave Buitres F.C. a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rich Burrows, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ossian AFC's Douglass Meyer. 2-1. Donnie Orlinsky took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mickey Romano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Randall Eckert fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buitres F.C.'s protests and gave Randall Eckert a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Buitres F.C. getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Randall Eckert hit a great ball. Buitres F.C.'s Donnie Orlinsky proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Buitres F.C. from getting a goal against them. Mickey Romano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Donnie Orlinsky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ossian AFC booed when Buitres F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rico Poe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Buitres F.C.'s Donnie Orlinsky proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to save Buitres F.C. from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mickey Romano was the one to do the kick off. In the 57thth minute of the game Darryl Pereira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ossian AFC's Douglass Meyer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ossian AFC's Douglass Meyer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Ossian AFC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Ossian AFC's Douglass Meyer got control of the ball when Pascal Simpson tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Ossian AFC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ward Walls hit a great ball. The long shot by Rich Burrows in the 63rd minute really tested Douglass Meyer's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of Ossian AFC booed when Buitres F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rico Poe didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Ossian AFC fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Ossian AFC's Mickey Romano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Ossian AFC's zone, Darryl Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Douglass Meyer came out of the goal and Darryl Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, Darryl Pereira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernardo Goins blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donnie Orlinsky having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eldon Corbin during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ossian AFC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Eldon Corbin hit a great ball. Pascal Simpson took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Douglass Meyer. Douglass Meyer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Buitres F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ossian AFC.
