Spectators: 7792 (Terracing: 5845, Seating: 1792, VIP seats: 155) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The referee ignored Huron FC's protests and gave Jarod Tabor a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Huron FC's Jarod Tabor got a free kick in the 14th minute. Garth Betts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmed Hedrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Platt in the 16th minute of play forced Huron FC's goalkeeper Garth Betts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 played minutes Crosby FC got a freekick which was hit by David Hand. Ahmed Hedrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute Dan Platt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garth Betts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Ahmed Hedrick left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Crosby FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Walton Roberts could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Jarod Pennington made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Huron FC's zone, Dan Platt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Garth Betts came out of the goal and Dan Platt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute Aidan Pritchard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garth Betts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Huron FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmed Hedrick came free, but Garth Betts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garth Betts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aidan Pritchard in the 40th minute of play. Garth Betts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Messer's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Lamar Dunlap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Garth Betts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmed Hedrick made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benedict Belanger during the 51st minute. Marco Messer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garth Betts having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dan Platt got free with Garth Betts in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marco Messer charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Messer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th minute, Marco Messer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jarod Pennington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walton Roberts in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75thth minute of the game Aidan Pritchard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Huron FC's Garth Betts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Huron FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Dan Platt scored to the left of an out of position Garth Betts, making the score, 0-6. Aidan Pritchard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Garth Betts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marco Messer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedict Belanger kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute Crosby FC were awarded a corner. Ahmed Hedrick went to the cornerflag to take it. Crosby FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
