If Reyes Hawk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chuck Kraft hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Rufus Ruff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th match minute, ARGENTINA F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derrick William to maneuver through the defense. Derrick William received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Napoleon Beltran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cherry Splitters's Napoleon Beltran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rufus Ruff in the 23rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dalton Goss made a kick off. Reyes Hawk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rufus Ruff couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute Reyes Hawk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napoleon Beltran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 61 minutes, Sammy Albrecht managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
