Cyrus Mueller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalton Goss, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The audience was convinced that Rocky Escobedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Napoleon Beltran was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rocky Escobedo made a kick off. Cyrus Mueller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jamel Read, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Gibson AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalton Goss came free, but Cyrus Mueller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cherry Splitters booed when Gibson AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eldon Barrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute of the match Kirk Childress sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cyrus Mueller skillfully saved the ball. Gibson AFC's Cyrus Mueller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalton Goss in the 59th minute of play. Dario Doran's late challenge caught a Cherry Splitters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 68 minutes of play, Cherry Splitters's Chuck Kraft made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cyrus Mueller was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chuck Kraft kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 74th minute of the match Jospeh North sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cyrus Mueller skillfully saved the ball. Dario Doran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dario Doran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Napoleon Beltran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Cyrus Mueller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalton Goss in the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalton Goss in the 85th minute of play forced Gibson AFC's goalkeeper Cyrus Mueller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 86 in the game by Rocky Escobedo from a close distance when the talented Napoleon Beltran managed to make a qualified save. Cherry Splitters's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Dario Doran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gibson AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dario Doran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Napoleon Beltran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cyrus Mueller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Scotty Gregory, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalton Goss scored 3-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cyrus Mueller, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cherry Splitters's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
