The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Freddie Elder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarod Butcher was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Los Santos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Freddie Elder came free, but Jarod Butcher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freddie Elder kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. When Sandy Crozier fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Santos FC's protests and gave Sandy Crozier a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Los Santos FC got a freekick which was hit by Sandy Crozier. Moises Burks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asher Munoz in the 26th minute of play. Stuart Dubose fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarod Butcher having to interfere. Moises Burks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Sterling in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philip Sterling in the 43rd minute of play forced Vanquish Utd's goalkeeper Moises Burks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Freddie Elder to make the kick off. If Asher Munoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarod Butcher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rex Frey in the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rex Frey in the 59th minute of play forced Los Santos FC's goalkeeper Jarod Butcher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moises Burks made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Philip Sterling sent off a good shot on target. Jarod Butcher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddie Elder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Los Santos FC booed when Vanquish Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidney Benavides didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Vanquish Utd's Stuart Dubose got a free kick in the 70th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Los Santos FC's Hans Deal tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A hard shot 73 in the game by Philip Sterling from a close distance when the talented Moises Burks managed to make a qualified save. Vanquish Utd's players were relieved. When Asher Munoz came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Los Santos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Asher Munoz couldn't finish the play. If Philip Sterling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asher Munoz in the 92nd minute of play forced Vanquish Utd's goalkeeper Moises Burks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Philip Sterling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Moises Burks made a huge save. Philip Sterling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Moises Burks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Los Santos FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vanquish Utd.
