In the 21st minute, Alonso Moseley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the game, Hunter Fuller cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jarod Butcher was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38th match minute, San Pablo Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kelly Cleveland to maneuver through the defense. Jarod Butcher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hunter Fuller in the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Asher Munoz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When San Pablo Team's Hunter Fuller in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 56th minute Hunter Fuller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarod Butcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Santos FC's Jarod Butcher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Los Santos FC from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerold Creech during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Asher Munoz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dane Blake read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of Los Santos FC booed when San Pablo Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezra Beebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute of the match Hans Deal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dane Blake skillfully saved the ball. Philip Sterling scored 1-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dane Blake, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jarod Butcher didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 84th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. With an all-out effort, San Pablo Team's Jarod Butcher threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hunter Fuller, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. San Pablo Team's Tyrese Sellers got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Los Santos FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching San Pablo Team's performance. The match ended with a win for San Pablo Team.
