Spectators: 5100 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kevin Atwood started the match with the kick off. William Houston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Mosley in the 6th minute of play. The throw-in from Gerard Kohler in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ferrocarril's Owen Echols. William Houston took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monte Rushing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerard Kohler took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised William Houston. William Houston dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. William Houston didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilberto Mosley went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When Gilberto Mosley came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Riverhead fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Mosley couldn't finish the play. When Alexander Taylor fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riverhead's protests and gave Alexander Taylor a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Riverhead fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! William Houston took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monte Rushing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Monte Rushing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Houston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. William Houston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joesph Tackett in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Mosley in the 41st minute of play forced Ferrocarril's goalkeeper William Houston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Ferrocarril players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Riverhead were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilberto Mosley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. William Houston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Mosley in the 58th minute of the match. Ferrocarril's William Houston played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Mosley in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Owen Echols hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Joesph Tackett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th match minute, Ferrocarril was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Owen Echols to maneuver through the defense. Riverhead's Wyatt Benitez couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 76th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ferrocarril. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Taylor got free with William Houston in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gerard Kohler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but William Houston made a huge save. In the 83rd minute, Alexander Taylor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Riverhead fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. 90 minutes into the match, Ferrocarril's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Taylor came free, but William Houston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Ferrocarril's goal looked a bit too open when Monte Rushing came free, but William Houston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. William Houston didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexander Taylor went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Riverhead walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
