Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gardiner AFC's Kris Burton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marshall Kimbrough in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Leonard Burt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Comunicaciones fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Marshall Kimbrough fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kris Burton having to interfere. Rico Delarosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marshall Kimbrough in the 19th minute of play forced Gardiner AFC's goalkeeper Kris Burton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kris Burton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marshall Kimbrough in the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Marshall Kimbrough got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kris Burton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rico Delarosa went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Marshall Kimbrough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Kris Burton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kris Burton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rico Delarosa in the 47th minute of the match. The Gardiner AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Comunicaciones were winning 1-3.

Gardiner AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Leonard Burt scored to the left of an out of position Kris Burton, making the score, 1-4. After 54 minutes of play, Comunicaciones's Leonard Burt made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kris Burton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kris Burton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marshall Kimbrough, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Comunicaciones's Leonard Burt got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kris Burton came out of the goal and Marshall Kimbrough tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Comunicaciones could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gardiner AFC throughout the match.
